The answer depends on how much stuff you have, but here's a reliable starting guide based on what our moving company customers order most often:

Bedroom (per room):

• 8–12 x SW5 Large Box (linen, bedding, clothes)
• 4–6 x SW3 Medium Box (shoes, books, accessories)
• 2–3 x SW2 Small Box (jewellery, electronics, chargers)
• 1 x TVL box if there's a TV or mirror

Kitchen:

• 6–8 x SW4 Medium/Large (crockery, pots, appliances)
• 4 x SW3 Medium (pantry items, condiments)
• 2 x SW2 Small (sharp knives — wrapped, spices)

Living Room:

• 3–4 x SW6 XL Box (cushions, throws, décor)

📦 Total estimate for a 3-bedroom house: 60–80 boxes

Pro tip: Always order 20% more than you think you need. Unused flat-packed boxes store easily and can be returned or used next time.
